I covered Alice & Carl’s Hong Kong wedding in 2016 and it was an honour to be able to come to Sweden to cover their main wedding. We met a few days before the wedding in Stockholm and spent a lovely time wandering around the old town and waterways. Venturing into the metro where they have some wonderful murals on the walls and ceilings we took a train to the harbor where we finished with wonderful views of the city.
A couple of days later I drove about 400km out of Stockholm on the road to Oslo towards a little town called Ransäter. We stayed in some beautiful cabins by the lake where the ceremony was the next day. The weather was perfect on the day and it was great working with. The ceremony by the lake was very touching and the setting idyllic. In the evening we were treated to some amazing food all prepared by Alice and Carl’s family, mushroom soup and moose – ngom ngom! We hit the dancefloor late into the night and the best moves were from the amazing Matt from Green Tea Photography – so great to work along side this talented photographer.
An amazing experience that I’ll never forget and I cant wait to go back here – so if anyone else wants some Sweden Destination Wedding Photography let me know!
